Feast 2.0

FEAST 2.0 invited viewers back to the table for a renewed exploration of food, ritual, abundance, and transformation through contemporary art. Presented during the spring of 2020, this group exhibition brought together works that examined our emotional, cultural, and sensory relationships with what we consume — and what sustains us.

Featured in this presentation were the haunting gelatin silver mushroom studies of Dale M. Reid. Stark, sculptural, and deeply tactile, Reid’s photographs elevate organic forms into something almost otherworldly, revealing the fragile beauty hidden within the everyday. Set against rich darkness, the works evoke both scientific observation and classical still life traditions, blurring the line between nourishment and mystery.

At a moment when ideas of gathering, comfort, and domestic ritual carried new meaning, FEAST 2.0 offered a meditation on intimacy, nature, and the shared human experience of food.
